Press Release Body: ParaScale, Inc., (www.parascale.com) a startup company
developing cloud storage solutions for deep content archives and rich-media content
in traffic-intense applications, is pleased to announce the formation of an advisory
board and its first appointments.

"Our new advisory board members will help guide ParaScale as we introduce a new
class of clustered NAS and file storage, delivering unprecedented horizontal
scale-out of storage capacity and performance to support the wave of
content-intensive applications," said Cameron Bahar, CTO and founder, ParaScale,
Inc. "Each of our advisory board members has contributed substantially to the
development and adoption of emerging clustered storage technologies. I welcome them
to our new advisory board and look forward to their technology and market
contributions."

The ParaScale Advisory Board members include:
Alex Godelman, IT and Engineering Evangelist in Online Media and Entertainment.
With nearly 20 years of executive and senior management IT and engineering
experience in ecommerce, commercial software development, and online media and
entertainment, Alex is vice president of technology at Gorilla Nation. Gorilla
Nation Media is the world\'s largest online ad sales rep firm that exclusively
represents over 500 leading web publishers, and averages over 60 million unique
visitors per month. Previously, he served as part of the senior management team at
Shopzilla; chief information officer at Diskeeper; executive director of technology
for the B3 Corp division of Time Warner; and senior director of IS&T for the Maxis
division of Electronic Arts.

"In recent years, the need to power media-rich platforms has exploded. A new
breakthrough approach to handling high quantities of media content to address
today's total cost of ownership, manageability and performance-related challenges
is way overdue," said Godelman. "I truly believe ParaScale is well on its way to
pioneering such a breakthrough with its revolutionary approach to a
highly-efficient, redundant and scalable clustered NAS platform utilizing commodity
hardware with unmatched affordability and performance. I am very excited to take a
front seat as ParaScale unveils its cloud storage technology to the industry."

Chuck McManis, Senior Storage Technologist at Google. At Google, Chuck and his team
spear-head the challenges of managing storage on a massive scale every day. In his
20+ years of experience prior to Google, Chuck was a senior director at Network
Appliance leading the movement from single machine storage appliances to clouds of
appliances.

\"Dealing with the challenges of uniquely deploying storage to many thousands of
nodes at Google, I have come to appreciate both the benefits and potential pitfalls
of various clustered storage approaches," explained McManis. "Today\'s media-rich
environment is putting pressure on companies in all industries to deploy massive
amounts of cost -effective storage for handling this data explosion. ParaScale's
down-load on-demand to commodity servers approach is the key enabler for a cloud
storage architecture. This company is positioned to meet the needs of companies
competing in today's content-intensive markets."

Ethan Miller, Professor of Computer Science at UC Santa Cruz. Ethan is the
Associate Director of the Storage Systems Research Center at UCSC, where he explores
issues in advanced file & storage systems. He has been doing research in storage
systems for over 20 years.

"Over the past decade, storage software technology has advanced significantly, yet
most currently-established solutions use 1990's technology," explained Miller. "My
research group, the Storage Systems Research Center at UC Santa Cruz, is exploring
state-of-the-art approaches for storage scalability, capacity, and usability,
making it possible to build high-performance, cost-effective petabyte-scale
storage. I\'m excited to be working with ParaScale because it is incorporating many
of these new techniques in its products, allowing them to handle the high-demand
loads generated by digital content and streaming media by providing pragmatic
high-performance clustered storage solutions with very practical economics."

These three members join Sepandar David Kamvar, Ph.D., Google / Stanford University,
who has served in a consulting capacity since ParaScale's founding. Dr. Kamvar is
the technical lead of personalization at Google and a consulting professor in
Computational Mathematics at Stanford.
